Alfredo Built his first fully operational Robot in 1989 and went on to combine his Robotics talents with a career in Show lighting Design to become an Animatronic Prop Creator both Designing and Building show effects.
In 2001 He worked as Lighting and Effects Designer for Gilbert & Paulos Circus (Now Circus Americano), Zippos Circus in the United Kingdom and The Golden Circus Orfei in Italy.
In 2002 Alfredo Designed an Animatronic Robot which combined with a Real Circus Performer in an Act called 'The Spectral Alien' and a year later presented a six minute act entitled 'The Clown and The Butterfly' featuring an airborne animatronic, Computer controlled Butterfly. Both these Acts were the first of their kind in Circus and Variety and both acts were featured in the BBC programme 'Look North'
Since 2001 Alfredo Montenegri's props have regularly appeared in the childrens BAFTA award winning show 'The Slammer' and has he has spent 4 years developing 'The Robot Show'
